What a wonderful place

Where your parents tell you that you might get raped;

 Where they want you to be safe

But tell you to be all afraid;

What a wonderful place

Where parents don’t preach their sons

And tell their daughters to be unscathed;

What a wonderful place

Where you need to think before thinking

And think again before speaking;

Where trust is for the undeserving

And don’t matter the deserving;

What a wonderful place

Where they tell us not to trust anyone

For those who maybe evil.

What a wonderful place

Where a father calls his daughter a slut

For having chosen who she loves;

And

Where the same father finds an abusive suitor,

For that of her fate,

To satisfy his ego,

He would go to any stake,

What is wrong with this place?

What a wonderful place!

Where God is used

In place of Devil’s face,

Where lives are taken,

Just because of your faith and race;

What a wonderful place!

Where we have power to choose what’s right

And yet we sit and criticize

While another illiterate leads our nation’s demise!
