Her nod for approval
Was a mere feint to conceal her disapproval,
And her eyes of valor were only just a concealment
Of all the pain and anger,
But the real emotions were her fear and resentment,
That she carried all along her life,
Only to give them away.
Her concealment was all just a game;
She was a mother,
with a passion, hidden and buried inside,
and she did not want to but she did,
and then she didn’t, and she did;
she did not know what she wanted,
and sure did her daughter.
BUT WAIT! She knows!
She knows what she wants to do
And now the mother doesn’t, yet again;
Should I support her or repent her?
Should I say yes, because it seems right;
BUT WAIT!! Said the father, and then the mother looked away,
“She is a girl how she could do anything,
Have you lost your mind?”
And now the mother says to her daughter,
You cannot do this, this is not what you want,
You do what your father says, oh I mean, what we say!
And yet she stands here, the mother,
Her nod for approval
was a mere feint to conceal her disapproval,
And her eyes of valor were only just a concealment
Of all the pain and anger,
But the real emotions were her fear and resentment
That she carried all along her life
Only to give them away.
Only to give them up,
HER DREAMS!
