You may encountered many people at your work place and in your neighborhood I find it so strange that sometimes people ask me a question or two like “how are you” and “how have you been” but they never pause any bit to hear my answer. It’s embarrassing to start speaking to look up to find no one there to hear your answer. It has happened many times with me and I realized that is a new trend. This is how people try to show us their polite side of being courteous! But we all know how courteous that is!
So if you are among those who start by saying “how are you” please stop, take a step back and listen what the other person says. He will just probably say “I’m good” and continue on his way or whatever he is doing.
Either don’t ask or don’t fake! 🙂
Be courteous but in true sense just not for the sake of it!
